The newest additions to the Raid On St. Francis series is another set for the Woodland Indian village, as well as the first of several native structures.
The Wigwam, is a domed single room dwelling used by certain Native American tribes. These domed constructions were an ideal shelter under all kinds of conditions. The basic structure was formed with a framework of arched poles, usually wooden, which were then covered with some sort of roofing material. This usually depended on the local availability of materials, such as grass, brush, bark, matts or cloth.
The Wigwam is not to be confused with the plains Indian "Tipi”
