United States Marine Corps

The Museum Collection expands to include North America with a new history of the United States Marine Corps series. The first Marines were recruited at Tun’s Tavern, Philadelphia in 1775 and our figure depicts a later war Marine in green with red facings and white trimmed wide brimmed hat. Onto the shores of Tripoli and the War of 1812 - our figure from that period exudes the poise and confidence of our new nation defending itself at home and abroad.
