A mounted Royalist trooper in the army of Charles I. Our man holds his “Musketoon” at the ready.
“Musketoons” were short-barrelled versions of soldiers’ muskets first carried by sailors and pirates and later adopted by cavalry as they were easy to carry (suspended by a spring hook on a cross belt) and to shoot while mounted.
Scale 1:30 / 60 mm.
