Featuring two mounted officers from the 18th Hussars/Dragoons on a reconnaissance patrol. Both are wearing the uniform of a senior officer of the 18th (King's Irish) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons (Hussars) from the Napoleonic period; more commonly referred to as the ‘18th Hussars’.
Following the military fashion they changed their uniform and were designated hussars in 1807 but for some reason their formal title continued to include ‘light dragoons’. I guess somebody forgot to remove this extra title and it was never deleted from official records!
Scale 1:32 56 - 58mm
The A version wear the Tarleton style helmet suitable for Iberia and the Napoleonic campaigns before 1812.
