An upgraded variant of its AH-1W prdecessor, the Bell's AH-1Z Cobra features a new 4-blade composite rotor system, twin Y700-GE-401 engines, self-sealing fuel tanks, improved energy absorbing landing gear and a fully integrated glass cockpit. It can carry a deadly array of firepower and munitions, including a 20mm cannon, hellfire missiles, rockets and incendiary bombs. For nearly 30 years, the U.S. Marine Corps Light Attack Training Squadron (HMAT-303) based at Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, California, has trained aviators and aircrews to operate a number of combat helicopter models including the AH-1Z Cobra. Our replica is created in diecast metal and plastic and includes rotating rotors and a variety of weapons.
