The Ojibwa were an Indian group of the Algonkin or the Algonquiam Tribes. Also often referred to as the “Chippewa”. Most were located north of Lake Huron and north east of Lake Superior. They were good hunters and known to be able warriors. They were strong allies of the French, and were active in the French and Indian war on several battle fronts.
This pair of Ojibwa warriors have brought a British line infantry captive for trade, either to the French in exchange for money, or to the local Indian tribes to torture!
