The British elite forces on the Falkland Islands included some of the most fierce and loyal fighters in the British Army – The Gurkha’s. These Nepalese soldiers have proved their worth on countless battlefields. The Argentine units were said to be very fearful of the Gurkha’s believing they were some of the most blood thirsty soldiers around. This reputation helped the Gurkha’s take positions unopposed but of course upset them to no end as they never really got into the thick of it!
