   This was the first major land battle of the armies in Virginia. July 21, 1861. Also known as the First Bull Run.   Here we show J.E.B. Stuart's Virginia cavalry as they cut their way through the 11th New York Fire Zouaves. July 21,1861.  Inspired by the striking artwork of Don Troiani. The Irish Brigade - 69th Regiment
   Formed in November 1861, it fought in all of the major campaigns of the Army of the Potomac and suffered high casualties as a result. The Brigade fought at "Bloody Lane" at Antietem, below Marye's Heights at Fredericksburg, the battle in the Wheatfield at Gettysburg and at Chancellorsville. It lost over 4,000 men during the war. The Brigade was officially disbanded in June, 1864.
Keith Rocco Civil War Collection - Being Retired May update
   Keith is one of the finest modern artistic chroniclers of the Civil War. His murals cover more than 4,000 square feet at The National Museum of the Civil War Soldier at Pamplin Historical Park near Petersburg, Virginia.  In collaboration with Conte his paintings are now being brought to life, in these wonderful sets of miniatures.
